Abstrakt
As part of the regular Annual Conference of the European Association of Biblical Studies, the three founders (Sandra Huebenthal, Jiří Lukeš, Pavel Langhammer) and the chairs of the Memory, Method, and Text research unit organized a presentation of papers within this research discipline. Participation in the conference is open to all EABS members who have a worldwide membership.
Participants from several countries were divided into three groups to present their papers (Test Cases I: Acts and Commensality; Test Cases II: Figures of Memory; Test Cases III: Early Judaism) on August 4-5, 2021. Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, participation was online via the EABS app or link.
All three section chairs also stepped forward with papers. Jiří Lukeš with his paper "Luke's Parables about the Rich through the Lens of Social Memory."
