Abstract
The proceedings present selected contributions from the 10th International Symposium on Czech as a Foreign Language BOHEMISTIKA 2021, subtitled "Space for Encounters of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures ". The symposium took place at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, from August 10th to August 14th, 2021.
The selected contributions are thematically rooted in three areas: (a) Czech and other languages, particularly in the context of language contacts, the use of Czech by non-native speakers, and the preservation, transmission, and erosion of inherited language; (b) Czech literature and Culture in an internation context, particularly in relation to translations and the position of Czech literature among foreign readers; (c) language teaching and learning.
