Abstract
The paper is a reflection on the possibility of introducing the principle of concentration of proceedings, as it is known from civil procedure, into criminal procedure. The author's reflections were prompted by several provisions contained in the draft of the new Criminal Procedure Code.
It is clear from the wording of the draft that the draftsman was inspired by the legislation in Slovakia.
