The Renaissance Granary of Harazim Hamlet near Rájov in the Český Krumlov Region

Abstract

The article deals with the building development of a pre-White Mountain granary at Harazim Homestead (Český Krumlov Region) that was previously outside researcher's interests. Estimated in the late 16th and early 17th century, the granary's origin was confirmed by dendrochronology research and detection of sgrafitti blocks.

The walls further showed stone and wooden traces of an earlier structure, perhaps for the same purpose.
