Title On the project Educating Heritage Language Learners and pupils learning a Second Language: Differences in approaches

Abstrakt
Our contribution represents 4EU+ mini-grants (from 2022 and 2023), it is led by experts from Charles University and focuses on streamlining and systematising the teaching of heritage language. First of all, we will present the general objective of the project and explain where the idea of the project came from.
Then we will present the objectives of the project, which coincide with selected EU objectives. In this context, we will point out the facts that prevent the full and functional fulfilment of the mentioned objectives in practice.
We will describe the planned steps of the team looking for solutions to make plurilingualism and linguistic diversity in contemporary Europe more effective.
