Abstract
Symposium presentation focused on the participation of Romani Holocaust Survivors in Czechoslovakia in post-1948 negotiation with central state authorities on the status of the Roma in communist Czechoslovakia, including the establishment of a Romani organization, and the possiblities of the Romani representatives taking part in the design and implementation of policies directed at "citizens of Gypsy origin".
