Abstract

This article, in a logical sequence, reveals the greatest anti-colonial activists originating from francophone colonies in Sub-Saharan Africa. These are people whom history has at least partially erased.

The work deals with their individual contributions to the liberation of the colonized peoples from this part of the world. There are several of these fighters and the article demonstrates that although they never directly cooperated with each other, their practices and tactics were very similar.

Based on this fact, it can be concluded that colonial coercion and oppression created a relatively unified, although fragmented, wave of resistance. However the decolonization took place several decades ago, the absence of knowledge of these anti-colonial heroes proves the still-present success of colonial policies.
