Comparison of regulation of hours of work and rest periods for the purposes of Directive 96/71/EC

Abstract

Directive 96/71/EC is to compromise the host and home countries sending employers. Just like any compromise is not ideal, this is not devoid of a wide range of application problems.

This article is based on a comparison of legislation in Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland and Slovak Republic.
