Linfinity(L2)-error estimates for the DGFEM applied to convection-diffusion problems on nonconforming meshes

Abstract

The paper is devoted to the analysis of optimal error estimates for the discontinuous Galerkin method applied to the space semidiscretization of nonlinear nonstationary convection-diffusion problems on general nonconforming simplicial meshes with hanging nodes.
