Networks and (Visco)elastic Properties of Filled Polymers

Publication at Faculty of Mathematics and Physics |
2008

Abstract

We present a comprehensive overview of viscoelastic properties of filled polymer networks. They represent one of the most important subjects in industrial exploitation of heterogeneous materials.

Physically based descriptions of the principal ideas and models used for the description of viscoelastic (Payne effect) and hyperelastic (Mullins effect) behaviors of filled materials and theories of formation of polymer and filler networks are reviewed.
