Abstract
An experimental setup for the study of a von Karman type flow of normal and superfluid 4He generated inside a brass box by counter-rotating discs with blades has been designed and tested. The generated flow can be probed simultaneously by vibrating quartz forks and by measuring pressure fluctuations.
