Geometric Scaling in Deep Inelastic Scattering

Abstract

The analysis of the scaling properties in deep-inelastic processes using the 'Quality Factor' (QF) method is summarised. Data from HERA and fixed target experiments with x { 0.01 are considered.

GRV. MRST and CTEQ parametrisations of F-2 and F-2(c) are analysed in the same way to see whether these reproduce the geometric scaling properties seen in data.
