Dimeric Structure of Quadruplex-forming Thrombin-binding Aptamer in Complexes with Cationic Porphyrin

Abstract

Complexes of cationic porhyrin with quadruplex-forming thrombin-binding aptamer were studied by a combination of several spectroscopic methods. Dimeric structure of the quadruplex was suggested on the basis of some spectroscopic peculiarities of the complexed porphyrin.
