Abstract
Due to a coding error, the previous paper [1] quoted incorrect values for the differential cross sections of the process np -} pp pi(-). The differential cross sections d sigma/dM(pp) as shown in Fig. 9 of [1] are too small by a factor of two.
In Table 3 of [1] the di. erential cross sections d sigma/d Omega(pi)* are too large by a factor of 10/2 pi. The integrated cross sections and all conclusions of [1] remain unchanged.
