Deformation changes occurring in the AX41 and AJ51 magnesium composites during thermal cycling

Abstract

The dilatation characteristic of two fibre composites with magnesium matrrix AX41 and AJ51 were thermally cycled in the temperature range of 20-400°C. The residual strains were calculated from the experimental data.

The differencies in the thermal deformation of both composites are discussed.
