Abstract
This paper describes temperature conditions (average, minimum and maximum air temperature) for the whole second half of December are analysed with respect to Christmas thaw appearance. Beside temperature, also snow cover and depth of the new snow cover at Christmas is described too.
Finally, description of special synoptic situations that caused extraordinary temperature conditions is given, too.
