Abstract

Spectroscopic measurements were performed on the re-installed COMPASS tokamak during the first experiments. The impurity survey spectrometer HR 2000 was used for registration of the most intense spectral lines in the 457-663nm visible range integrated over the discharge duration.

The temporal evolution of integral visible light, H and hard X-rays intensities are measured by a photomultipliers. An attempt to estimate the ion temperature from Doppler broadening of selected spectral lines is described
