Abstract
The microstructure changes in AZ31 magnesium alloy after equal channel angular pressing (ECAP) were correlated with electrochemical characteristics of the surface. After exposure in NaCl, the charge transfer resistance in samples after ECAP was significantly higher than in extruded samples.
