Abstract
Index of winter weather complexity for winter road maintenance was constructed and has been used in Czechia since 2005. SInce that time partial changes and improvements have been done based on experiences with its usage for pruposes of winter road maintenance performances by individual road administrators control.
Principes of winter index construction and possibilities of further improvements are described, too.
