Abstract

We study the non-stationary Navier-Stokes equations in the entire three-dimensional space under the assumption that the data are axisymmetric. We extend the regularity criterion for axisymmetric weak solutions given in Pokorný M.: A regularity criterion for the angular velocity component in the case of axisymmetric Navier-Stokes equations, Proceedings of the 4th European Congress on Elliptic and Parabolic Problems, Rolduc and Gaeta 2001, World Scientific (2002) 233--242.
