Light-like homogeneous geodesics and the geodesic lemma for any signature

Abstract

For pseudo-Riemannian manifolds, the so-called 'generalized geodesic lemma' is used by the physicists as a folklor and without proof. In our paper we give an exact mathematical proof of this lemma.
