Tropospheric ozone and biogenic emissions in the Czech Republic

Publication |
2007

Abstract

A comparison of daily mean values of ground concentration of ozone and model results when only anthropogenic emission sources were taken into account and then both anthropogenic emissions and biogenic emissions of VOC from the forest growth are shown. This comparison has been made for data sets from two available measuring sites located in the area of the Hruby Jesenik Mountains.

Both the used chemical transport model (model SMOG) and the model for biogenic emission estimation are described and results and their comparison are discussed.
