Abstract
Process photometer for on-line measurement of colour of a heavy sugar liqueur in a sugar refinery. Signals from photoreceivers are evaluated in an electronic microprocessor unit equiped with a bright diplay and an active current loop and RS232 for control and communication.
Measurement of colour of a heavy sugar liqueur is made according to its normative definition and it is supplemented by the measurement of transmition at the other wavelength. Special algorith uses this for the suppression of the influence of a sample haze on the colour measurement.
