Abstract
This thesis consists of a collection of eleven articles, ten of them published during last five years, that have a relevance to the mathematical analysis of flows of incompressible fluids with the viscosity depending on the pressure and the shear rate. This collection is completed by the introductory text that summarizes the main results (44 pages).
