Abstract
The paper deal with the investigation of the mechanical loading on plastic deformation of the AX41 magnesium alloy reinforced with short saffil fibres. Reinforcing impact of the saffil fibres on the deformation behaviour of the composite at various temperatures was studied.
Stress relaxation tests were performed and the stress components were estimated from the stress relaxation curves.
