A stochastic version of Kermack-McKendrick model of epidemics

Abstract

The paper reviews a stochastic version of common epidemic model. We admonish of classic Kermack-McKendrick approach, show the meaning of particular parameters and then we attend to stochastic epidemic modelling.

A special emphasis is given on simulation approach.
