Discontinuous Galerkin method for problems with nonlinear Newton boundary conditions

Abstract

A discontinuous Galerkin formulation of the Poisson equation with a nonlinear Newton boundary condition is given. Existence, uniqueness are studied and error estimates are derived.

Theoretical results are illustrated by several numerical examples.
