The problem of the nature of European law and its reflection in the European doctrine

Abstract

This article aims to highlight the need for distinguishing between different concepts of European law, based on either international or autonomous character of European law, and particularly federal and pluralist approaches. Interpretation of the same expression may lead to different conclusions depending on which approach to European law, a particular author favors.
