The contacts among the abbots and monks of Monastery of Sedletz and the Cistercian Nuns of Upper Lusatia in 17th and 18th centuries

Abstract

From the study of primary source grows a vivid picture of various contacts between Father-Abbot and a Cistercian Nunnery, which was subordinated to him, in Early Modern Era. The relations on the level of (state) law, economy, society, but also a spirituality are analysed.
