?Soul of enemy? and warrior deities (dgra bla): Two Tibetan myths on primordial battle

Abstract

The paper brings two unpublished myths on the origin of the so called 'warrior deities'. It proposes that their name written as dgra bla, attested in the oldest textual sources, could be connected with the ritual of summoning soul of the enemies.
