Patriotic Capitalism as the Unsuccessful Project of Business Elites in Bohemia

Abstract

Study about the unsuccessfull project of patriotic capitalism in Bohemia before 1848. The aim of this project was that the reformed aristocracy became the leading social stratum in the country modernization, but Austrian authorities were not ready to accept such goals.
