Czech Travellers in 19th century in the Orient-Egypt and Josef Kořenský

Abstract

This article deals with travellers to the Orient in 19th and 20th century, especially with Josef Kořenský, who travelled to Egypt twice, in 1894 during his travel round the world and again in 1910. We have got information about this travel due to his book World Travel and to his diary.

In the book we can follow all the events but the diary is more precise.
