Lower Nubia: Revisiting Memories of the Past, Envisaging Perspectives for the Future

Abstract

The article presents a report on the UNESCO conference held in March 2009 in Aswan on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the call for rescue of the monuments of ancient Nubia threatened by the waters of the projected dam at Aswan.
