Roman gems from the Klong Thong district of the Krabi province in Thailand

Abstract

Publication of Roman gems from the monastery territory in the Krabi province, Klong Thong district of Thailand; the set consists of items dating f rom Early and Late Imperial periods and is now exhibited in the local monstery. In the area was situated in the ancient writings the port Thaton, important for cinnamon trade.
