Abstract
A report from the third annual conference of South African Society for Research in Music (SASRIM). SASRIM brings together researchers in South African music coming from both South Africa and abroad.
It tries to overcome the traditional disciplinary boundaries between musicology, ethnomusicology, music theory and popular music studies. At the same time it tries to cover practically focused fields like music education, musical practice, music therapy and so on.
