Abstract
Interest of the Czech public about the sources of the folk provenience was emerged above all during the Ethnographical Exhibition in 1895 in Prague. Lucidity and apparent doubtlessness of those sources were reason, why they were originally utilized as sources for recognition of the regional history.
They offered an insight into the lives of the former participants in the regional history and into the traditional folk culture.
