Language Policy in the Czech Republic (concerning the relations towards the EU and the Council of Europe)

Abstract

The chapter is an overview over the language policy in the Czech republic. Primarily, it reflects the legal obligations following from the international and the Czech law.

It is based on the situation of the foreign languages as they are taught in the Czech Republic, and the situation of Czech as a foreign languages both in the Czech Republic and abroad.
