Abstract
The text consists of three relatively independent parts. The first part pertains to the creation and development of physical anthropology.
The second part represents the author´s discussion of the history of paleoanthropology. The third part consists of an analysis of the development of social an cultural anthropology.
Each part is concluded by the author´s solution to the key anthropological issues (human´s place in nature, human evolution, theory of culture).
