Mundy. The Family between the Rhine, Moravia and Danube

Abstract

The Baronial family of Mundy is of a German origin. At the end of the 18th century Wilhelm Mundy left Germany for Moravia where he worked as a labourer in textile industry.

Soon after he founded his own textile factory, gained large property and was honoured with a title of baron. The most prominent of his descendants was Jaromír, doctor and philanthropist.
