Abstract
Asurveyof contacts of empotrion Pistiros with North Aegean Greek cities. The emporion was founded by citizens of Thasos, Maroneia and Apollonia, it yielded coins of many Greek cites in the Northern Aegean and imported wine in trade amphorae from Thasos, Mende, Maronie, Peparethos, Uranopolis, Ainos and other centres, and pottery from other poleis, including the cities of the Olynthian league.
