Abstract
Archaeological study about one of three public spaces in the historic area of the town Most (NW Bohemia), which was entirely destroyed during the 1970´by the surface mining. The study presents the development of the geomorphological relief in connection with its historical explanation.
The analysis of the past human activities is included as well.
