Dialogue over the ocean (the Czech-American dialogue in letters between J. Voskovec and J. Werich, 1945-1962)

Abstract

The article considers the role of humour and language play in the 1st volume of Voskovec and Werich´s letters, for example the oscillation between Czech and other languages (particularly English).
