Abstract
The book deals with development of Czech-Slovak linguistic relations after the division of the common state. Attention is devoted to the attitudes and communicative strategies of the users of Slovak and Czech in inter-ethnic contact, to the development of receptive/perceptive (passive) bilingualism and language management.
