Genealogy of the Ruler-Dynasties as Modell of Persistence of the ?Political Body? of the Ruler in Medieval Bohemia
Abstract
The author shows the way how the medieval rulers legitimated their ambitions and position with the help of (fictitious) genealogies, whereby they proclaimed the continuous persistence of the sovereign status of their dynasties.
