The influence of the F0 contour in the sentence initial stress unit to the evaluation of the melodeme

Abstract

The aim of the experiment is to find out if the F0 of the initial stress unit could influence the evaluation of the sentence as declarative, interrogative or non-conclusive. The results of two perception tests based on synthetic speech are presented.
