Information literacy programmes in higher education in the Czech Republic: The path of theory and practice

Abstract

Policies, research activities and initiatives related to the issue of information literacy in the area of higher education in the Czech Republic are introduced in this chapter. The crucial points of the National Educational Policy are presented in the context of the higher education reality.
