The Loss of the Greek Infinitive and the Development of the Future Formations in the Late Medieval and Early Modern Periods

Abstract

The article describes the gradual fall out of use of Greek infinitive and the development of periphrastical future forms through the Middle Ages. The research was based on texts from 14th through to 17th centuries.
