Architecture in Dientzenhofer Style as a personal Manner and General Phenomenon of Style

Abstract

The study concentrates on the building of Jesuits church of St. Nicolas in Prague and its great influence on Czech,Austrian and Silesian architecture of the first third of 18th century.

The paper distinguishes between general stylistic concepts and their unique realization in the work of Christoph Dientzenhofer.
