Hardiness and selected psychosocial and behavioural variables in a representative Czech population sample

Abstract
In the framework of broader study conducted un two waves (1999-2000, N=2638, 2004-2005, N=1685) a question of relations of personality hardiness (HD) to other personality, psychosocial and behavioral variables has been addressed. According to our findings HD is positively related to social support, frequency of social contacts, physical activity, self-rated health, and education.
