The study was devoted to problem of burnout syndrome and its assumed relation to cardiovascular disease risks. The findings were surprising because of robust negative relation between burnout and blood pressure (in both sexes as well as in men and women).
To date there was not described relations between burnout and blood pressure in the current scientific writings. However, two other findings within our survey seem to be relevant to the main hypothesis concerning the relation between CVD risks and burnout syndrome characteristics - depressions in men, and hostility in women.
